
THE MICHIGAN GREAT LAKES IAFN IS A STATEWIDE CHAPTER OF THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FORENSIC NURSES (IAFN).
IAFN IS AN INTERNATIONAL MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION COMPRISED OF FORENSIC NURSES WORKING AROUND THE WORLD AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS WHO SUPPORT AND COMPLEMENT THE WORK OF FORENSIC NURSING.

OUR CHAPTER MISSION
To provide leadership in forensic nursing practice by developing, promoting and disseminating information for the improvement of nursing practice for our members that provide care to those affected by violence.
COMMON GOALS

Connection of members through a variety of platforms to enhance and promote professional networking.

Circulation of and discussion surrounding current research and available resources/trainings to guide best practice within the State of Michigan.

Development of six annual 90-minute Chapter Webinars.

Development of one annual Chapter Symposiums with CE provided.

Development of additional membership educational and case review opportunities.
