RECOGNIZING AND RESPONDING TO HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN
OUR COMMUNITY
Please join Turning Point for an insightful training about the impact of human trafficking within our own communities! Participants will learn how to talk about trafficking with their patients/clients, how to provide trauma-informed and empowering support to victims/survivors regardless of disclosure, and resources to report trafficking and support survivors.
The event will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Macomb Community College Central Campus. (University Center 1, Room 104. 44575 Garfield Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038).

After enjoying some time off in June and July we're ready to get back to work on the Committee's two projects - Minor/Vulnerable Patient Consent in Michigan + Anonymous SAEK Testing in Michigan.
